““A big thank you to all staff and Year 10 and 11 students (over 100 of them!) who took part in our theatre trip to see Macbeth at The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham last night. It was a brilliant experience - the performance was one specially adapted to help GCSE students preparing for their exams, and included lots of fantastic ideas about characters and themes, which really got our students thinking.

Throughout the entire experience, our students behaved wonderfully - they were sensible, polite and courteous, and an absolute credit to their families and to Colmers, even down to leaving the coaches absolutely spotless after the journey home!

We hope to run more theatre trips next year, to give even more of our students the opportunity to experience live theatre and the chance to see their set texts in performance!””
